Looking to play Constructed on your schedule? Don’t want to commit to a 3-round event? No problem – come on down to Turbo Town and battle!
Turbo Town is the place to be if you want to play a one-on-one constructed match. For just a small entry fee, you can sign up for whatever constructed format you have a deck for, whether that’s Standard, Modern, Legacy, Vintage, Pauper, Canadian Highlander, Artist Constructed, or something even wackier!
Once someone else comes along and signs up for the same format, you’ll be paired up for a match. The winner of the match will receive 30 Prize Tix. Don’t worry – you still get 10 Prize Tix if you lose.
Once the match ends, that’s it – you can go experience other parts of the Grand Prix if you want, but if you want to stay in Turbo Town and play a few more matches, we’ll be happy to help you find your next opponent!
Grand Prix Bologna will feature a group of sponsored professional Magic players and influencers who will be on hand to enhance your GP experience! You can meet them at the following events on Friday:
Ever wanted to match wits with one of the best players in the world? Well, now you can! On Friday afternoon, our featured professional players will be accepting challengers. Bring a Constructed deck and get ready to battle – if you manage to win, you’ll receive an extra prize. No entry fee is required for Spellslinging; just get in the queue, and when your time comes, make sure to bring your A-game!
On Friday evening, we’ll be hosting the Bounty Event, a three-round Sealed Deck Event where you can win Prize Tix based on your record. Some of our pro players will be entering the event as well, so we’ve put a bounty out on them! If you get paired against one of our sponsored pros and you win the match, you’ll receive extra Prize Tix to commemorate your victory.
We love Magic art – old and new – and we’ve invited some of Magic’s best artists to set up booths at Grand Prix Bologna! Check back frequently, as additional artists may be added as they are confirmed.
Vendors from around the world will be available on site to fulfill your every Magic: the Gathering need! Whether you’re looking for some Power 9 for your collection or just a Power Conduit for your Commander deck, the vendors at Grand Prix Bologna should be able to help you get what you’re looking for.
We believe you should be able to play the formats you enjoy and compete for prizes that interest you at our Grand Prix events, and with that in mind, we’re continuing to offer the Prize Wall at our 2018 Grand Prix events! Win Prize Tix in events and redeem them for items like booster packs, single cards, and uncut sheets. As always, 10 Prize Tix can be redeemed for a current set booster pack, with other items available at different redemption rates.
We’re planning to offer a consistent Prize Wall experience for the year 2018. We’ll offer a wide variety of recent booster packs, single cards, and supplies along with uncut sheets, oversized cards, canvas prints, complete sets, and Grand Prix T-Shirts!
Trading is, of course, permitted at Grand Prix Bologna.
Everyone is welcome to trade cards with the goal of building decks or collecting their favorite cards. Trading cards for the primary purpose of gaining value or earning a profit is restricted to those who have purchased a vendor booth for the event. Buying and selling cards with anyone other than official vendors is strictly prohibited. The enforcement of all event policies is at the sole discretion of the CFB Events staff.
Some additional things aren’t permitted on site and may result in ejection from the venue without refund. Examples include:
